After countless times of ruining a brand new counter edge when trimming the top down to the final dimension i came up with this trick to provide consistent.
Since we were installing new laminate over old laminate with the countertops in place there were places where the router couldn t be used to trim the laminate all the way up against the wall.
We don t typically recommend laminating over laminate but you can do it if you re willing to put some elbow grease into it.
Step six the two surfaces are then pressed and rolled together.
